Senior Engineer (Networking Construction)

Our client, a renowned financial service Institution, is currently looking for a Senior Engineer (Networking)

Main duties and responsibilities

•          Responsible for the design, planning, project management, implementation and on-going development of an international network.
•          Responsible for the implementation of project, including planning, scheduling, quality control, vendor management and budget management
•          Provide support to daily operation and emergency support services.
•          Supervise and working with external vendors.
•          Provision the internal service order (rack, power, structured cabling preparation etc.).
•          Facilitate effective operation in the planning and design stage, and operation procedure documentation.
•          IT asset management for network equipment
•          Provide support on 7 X 24 basis 

Candidate Profile

•          Bachelor degree with Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines with Mechanical Professional Engineer registration
•          +5 years ICT/ networking background and experience
•          Experience in design and build construction projects with AutoCAD and CFD software usage knowledge is an advantage
•          Hands on experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure design, security management and network trouble shooting
•          Technical knowledge of data center operation, fiber optics, IP and transmission network
•          Experienced in working with local and oversea data center providers / telecom partners
•          Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under tight timeline
•          Good in both Written and Spoken English/Chinese
