Responsibilities:

• Participate in Forex and Bullion trading application development and enhancement
• Collect and document business requirement, analyze and develop software solutions according to software development lifecycle
• Examine operational feasibility by performing analysis, problem definition, solution development, and propose solutions
• Examine, review and refine software quality
• Closely work with internal teams / business to perform SIT, UAT, production rollout and post-implementation support

For Technical Lead

• Responsible for enterprise architecture for existing and new application systems.
• Identify opportunities and evaluate new technology to match on-going business development

Technical Skills and knowledge

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• For Technical Lead, minimum 15 years of relevant experience in application development, including web, database and mobile applications. 
• For Lead Software Engineer, minimum 10 years.  Less experience will be considered as Senior Software Engineer.
• Hands on experience in Java, .Net framework, PHP, RDBMS (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL)
• Proficient in Multi-Threading and Socket Programming will be an advantage
• Experience in MT4 or other financial trading systems is an added advantage
• Experience in implementing payment gateway integration using Web Service /API is an added advantage
• Experience on price connectivity API (like BPIPE, RFA API .Net, FIX protocol), new technology (e.g. API gateway, Hadoop, Docker/Kubernetes stack, Robotic Process Automation / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence tools) is a plus
• Knowledge in data warehouse and BI reporting platform such as Tableau is an added advantage.
• Familiar with project management methodology including Agile, DevOps is an added advantage but not a must

Soft Skill

• An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Experience in vendor management
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent and able to work under pressure
