Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and support the web application for desktop and mobile (front-end);
• Ensure the application in both desktop and mobile are compatible across different major browsers;
• Work closely with a team of developers and UX/UI designer to deliver best-in-class user experience;
• Collect and analyze user requirements and ensure standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development life cycle are followed;
• Conduct knowledge share to the teammates;
• Apply industry best practice & setup the HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript standard;
• Work with external vendor and internal IT team from other internal units to design, document, and recommend technical solutions to facilitate sharing of the IT resources wherever feasible;
• An in-house resource to identify and provide quick fix for front-end coding problem.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computing, Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines;
• At least 1-year experience in front-end/web development;
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements;
• Strong knowledge and experience of HTML/CSS/JavaScript;
• Knowledge or experience in Vue.js or other popular JS framework;
• Experience in web services using markup languages like JSON and REST API;
• Strong OOP skills and strive to write clean and maintainable code;
• Experience in Android app development, Java or C# is a plus;
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps is a plus;
• Work in an independent manner, solve problems and communicate clearly even in difficult situations;
• Good command of English and Chinese;
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

*Candidates with more experience may be considered as Senior Front-end/Web Developer.
