Information Technology Manager – (Ref: 2000096)

Major Duties and Responsibilities 

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for one of the following:

(a) Student Application Development

• Managing a team of System Analysts to implement, develop, enhance and maintain of the University’s Student Administration System (using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions);
• Assisting in collecting user requirements and transforming into functional and technical specifications;
• Coordinating, communicating and working with Academic and Administrative units for support and maintenance of IT services; and
• Performing other duties as assigned.

(b) Student Database Management

• Managing a team of System Analysts to support and maintain of the Database System (using Oracle RAC Database) for Student Administration System (using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions);
• Planning and performing the upgrade for the Database System and Student Administration System;
• Assisting his/her supervisor in system planning including IT strategies for various IT services; and
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

• A recognized degree in Information Technology or related discipline;
• At least 6 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure in PeopleSoft application system development / Oracle Database Administration;
• Good knowledge and working experience in Peoplesoft ERP system (in particular Campus Solutions);
• Good knowledge and working experience in Oracle Database Administration;
• A good team player and proactive with good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Proficient in both English & Chinese

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.


Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
