Executive Summary:

• Report directly into Chief Data Officer
• One-year renewal project - medical / gratuity included
• Lead one of the largest mission critical transformation projects in the bank

Major Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Data Officer to materialize and design data architecture based on requirement and scope
• Develop and determine long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards
• Build an enterprise data management framework
• Evaluate new and existing tools and technologies to address business problems through modelling and understanding key business processes
• Delivers complex data models, ETL processes and data warehouse
• Lead formation of architecture roadmaps for the Big Data management in the Bank
• Lead new projects a solution architect capacity with understanding of customer management and analytics
•  Able to have an end-to-end vision and logical design to transform business requirements into environment specific ETL and data validation designs
• Develop and deliver logical and physical architecture and designs that in alignment with business needs
• Work closely with business sponsors to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns.
• Collaborate with end users on data requirements and data analytics needs.

Key Requirements:

• University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or in relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years working experience in data or infrastructure architecture of which 5 years in managerial level from recognized establishments in financial services and/or Fintech related industries with the following attributes:
• Demonstrated capability in data warehousing, data integration, data migration tools knowledge, data quality and profiling skills
• Experience of having solved complex analytical and technical problems
• End-to-end architecture experience including front-end, databases and data warehouse
• Strong knowledge on data management and analyst
• Development experience using MongoDB, MySQL, Java, Python
• Experience with relational database such as SQL server, Oracle and Teradata
• Experience with ETL processes
• In-depth knowledge of TOGAF architecture framework
• Result oriented and able to deliver under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven people management experience
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
