Job Description
Our client is a Global Insurance firm currently working on digitalization of all insurance application in Hong Kong, this candidate will be serving under the digital & innovation team of 20 – 30 people. They are looking for development manager to look after an existing team of 5 – 8 developers.
The development manager should have experience working with vendors and offshore team, a domain knowledge in digital insurance will be ideal, as this will be a newly set up team, they would welcome new joiners to have experience working in small teams and running SCRUM/ AGILE. They will be aiming to launch their product in the following quarter, so candidates with short availability will be preferred.
Our client will be using the latest technological trend when revamping the applications such as RPA, AWS cloud and machine learning protocols for data analytics purposes. Experience working in technology consultancy firm will also be preferred.
In general, the company has a western-cultured, startup environment to promote innovation and creativity.
Requirements:
- 7 years+ experience of Software development
- Experience in leading a team of at least 3 developers
- Familiar with Java, Hibernate, Spring, Struts
- Familiar with React, Angular, Vue
- Experience in AWS or Azure Cloud
- Experience in Container technology like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge in Insurance industry will be required
- SCRUM/ AGILE practice will be an advantage
- Fluent in English and Chinese speaking
