Job Description

My client, a multinational company, is seeking a  Lead Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great role for someone who wants to work with a global leader in cloud computing technology who is very familiar with Azure.

The Role:

• Responsible for day-to-day customer care and administration of cloud services
• Able to write effective handoff from shift-to-shift for cloud support issues
• Provide expertise in one or many of the following cloud and virtualization products: Azure
• Coordinate with other teams to handoff build guidance to complete orders where managed service support is request
• Coordinate with other services teams where cloud & virtualization specific issues are escalated
• Responsible for general health and maintenance of cloud service offerings
• Contribute to new products and feature enhancements and documentation 
• Provide advice and information to customers and colleagues regarding general cloud infrastructure as service offerings and best practices
• Produce written designs and documentation regarding proposed or actual cloud deployments

Qualifications for Technical Support

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred
• Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required
• 5 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company' s products and services
• Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients
• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
• Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, such as Zendesk in addition to other remote access desktop programs
• Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
