A HKSAR Government Department 

Selected candidates will be assigned to work in government department to migrate existing web application to cloud-based platform for supporting various business operations of the Strategy Division.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirement gathering, system analysis & design, development, testing and deployment according to scope, schedule and development standard (e.g. CMMI, SSADM);
• Review and / or prepare SDLC documentation;
• Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and in good quality; and
• Serve as a mentor to junior developers.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent;
• At least 2-4 years of IT working experience with at least 1 year as System Analyst or similar capacity;
• Solid experience in front-end, server-side java application development such as Spring/Struts, JavaScript, Java Servlet, J2EE development, SQL, Oracle RDBMS, JBoss etc.;
• Organised, strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication skills and able to work independently; and
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
