My client is looking for an experienced python developer to join their team. This is a newly created position to support its continues business expansion. You will be responsible to help with developing the trading system that enabled clients to control and customize their proprietary algorithms while maintaining the confidentiality of their trading strategies via a vendor-provided, broker-neutral platform.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing both server-side and web-based tools for internal and external users
• Implement the order and execution management system
• Work closely with the trade floor and other application teams to automate trading, including but not limited to securities, OTC traded complex derivative deals.
• Test and maintain the UI of the platform

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or other related discipline
• 3+ years’ of hands-on experience in developing large-scale Python applications, prefer in financial services firm
• Experienced in SQL Server, MySQL, Unix/Linux/shell script
• Experiences with middle to back office systems such as accounting systems, asset service, allocation process and trades submission
• Working knowledge of trading systems and network infrastructures
• Good understanding of software product development life cycle and financial markets
• Fluent in Chinese and English
