The Job:

Manager, IT Solutions is responsible for

• Strategic planning and implementation of applications and/or system enhancements following software development and project management methodologies
• Develop, implement and monitor an enterprise application development and deployment framework to ensure the integrity, availability and sustainability of solutions, to recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with Business teams to understand business strategy and define business requirement. Identify problems, evaluate trends, while anticipating necessary requirements
• Direct the evaluation, selection, design, development & maintenance of systems and software to meet the needs of the organization for optimum and effective results
• Manage projects and implementation, supports decision making by ensuring timely and consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, changes and impacts, with early identification of and intervention in issues and risks.
• Ensure architecture guidelines, data polices, security policies and best practices are followed. Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards following software development methodologies
• Search and introduce innovative and digital solutions that support business growth and advancement
• Handle budget management activities including annual budget preparation, scheduling expenditures and capacity planning

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• Post graduate qualifications and multiple disciplines will be an advantage
• At least 8 years of working experience in leading and managing multiple solutions teams and partners at the managerial level
• Experience and deep knowledge of working with business units, previous hands on experience with business applications and/or product portfolio
• Excellent project management skills in planning, delivery, agile implementation and risk management, demonstrated ability to manage multiple suppliers, partners and vendors to deliver agreed services and deliverables
• Experience in HR systems, Finance management systems, Mobile apps, Internet Portal, Cloud based applications and architecture is a plus
• Excellent consultative skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. Sound communication and presentation skills to work with teams with different technological expertise and mindset
• A questioning mind, self-motivated, resourceful with strong influencing and interpersonal skills, open minded in innovation and adoption of new technology and processes
