Our client is a well-established financial group in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a IT talent to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with system vendors, trading and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, make continuous improvements, and configure the front, middle and back-end systems for securities and futures trading
• Provide daily routine IT operations support and system checking tasks
• Create, update and improve continuous monitoring processes of the production trading environment
• Research on new technology and participate in proof-of-concepts of emerging technologies which fits in the business 
• Manage internal developer and external vendors for solution delivery 

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a Computer Science, information security or related disciplines with Min 5 years trading application support experience at financial/brokerage firms
• Hands-on experience with variety of trading systems (e.g. eBroker, Ayers, SharpPoint etc) for securities and futures trading
• Good infrastructure knowledge for trading systems (e.g. SDNet, DMZ, VPN, Firewalls etc.) knowledge
• Familiar with SFC and Exchange rules and regulations for trading system
• Possess problem solving capabilities in resolving complex / technical issues in a creative, practical and commercial manner
• Strong time management, ensuring quality output whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail
• Available to join an on-call rotation and work outside of core business hours or on weekends
