MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a critical role in the design and development of a SAAS solution.

• Obtain application requirements for cloud platform and document.
• Be responsible for the front-end development and implementation for excellent product usability and user experience.
• Identify technologies available in the market to work with our solution, present to senior management and obtain buy in. 
• Look across multiple third-party systems, understand the purpose of each system and define the integration requirements.
• Connect and configure third-party systems through their APIs and integrate to our solution.
• Work cross-functionally and coordinate efforts with the middleware and core engine teams to align activities and deliverables.
• Provide subject matter expertise for SAAS.
• Participate in system development lifecycle (SDLC) and use DevOps tools to achieve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Determine web infrastructure needs including, but not limited to, hosting, server configuration and third-party integration.
• Continuously identify optimal technology directions for the SAAS solution and proactively offer recommendations for improvements. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud integrations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in web application development preferably with SAAS.
• Strong experience in the full software development lifecycle for large scale projects in complex environments.
• Experience developing web applications for on-demand provisioning. 
• Experience with cloud services and micro-service architecture including AWS.
• Proficiency in ResfulAPI design and development. 
• Strong UI development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS.
• Programming experience in C, Java and Python is a plus.
• Experience with SOAP, JSON and other web API frameworks.
• Familiar with both relational (SQL) and object based (NoSQL) database.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SVN, code pipeline, etc.
• Hands-on experience in Linux administration for troubleshooting and optimisation. 
• Strong experience in gathering and documenting detailed application requirements and the ability to transform this into concrete data model designs. 
• Infrastructure migrations to Hybrid Cloud is a plus.
