Job Description

Silver Cube’s Linux System Engineer is responsible for technical solution across system infrastructure and application services. Candidates will have valuable opportunities to work with various clients to identify business and system requirement, client pain points, client and develop value propositions on how can help address client's needs and business visions. He/she will play a key role in technical deployment and hand-over to clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Linux Server 
• Monitor and maintain the healthiness, stability, performance and security of infrastructure
• Maintain the hardware and software of system infrastructure
• Liaise with internal developer for setup suitable linux site
• Liaise with internal developer for application performance tuning
• Assist Project Manager to design infrastructure
• Plan and implement with teammates for projects deployment
• Prepare and deliver relevant projects documentation

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
• Hands-on experience: Server Virtualisation Technology, Linux System (Centos) scripting, MySQL, ProxySQL, HAProxy, NGINX, PHP, Web Hosting Platform
• Basic knowledge: VMWare (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN), Windows server system, DNS, TCP/IP stack, Firewall, Load Balancer, VoIP
• Good to have virtualization and/or containerization in either private or public cloud environments
• Willing to upgrading technical skill and passion for technology
• Able to teamwork and responsible
• English and Cantonese written and communication skill
