Responsibilities: 

• Be responsible for overall IT infrastructure and core systems from implementation to day-to-day monitoring and continuous improvement;
• Review, design and implement IT infrastructure upgrade initiatives including but not limited to, information protection & security solutions, network / mobile device management platforms and backup & disaster recovery; Conduct post-implementation review to identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Deliver active skill transfer to Frontend Support, Application, Governance and regional teams for deployment of the above Infrastructure Upgrade initiatives to NWC’s regional entities with close communication and guidance for better support from corporate level;
• Project request of proposal, vendor / solution evaluation and work with Project team (including both internal & external vendors) for project planning and rollouts;
• Deliver technical support including upgrade and maintenance of server, network and monitor the overall operation of IT infrastructure such as Active Directory & email systems patch deployment, backup and recovery;
• Provide second-level technical support and diagnosis to users for resolution of problems; and perform vendor coordination as require;
• Assist the development of policies and procedures, and relevant duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• University degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;MCSE & CCNA/CCNP or other relevant qualification is an advantage but not a must;
• At least 4 years system administration experience;
• Hands-on experience in managing Microsoft Active Directory 2012/2016,Exchange 2016, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), virtualization technologies particularly VMWare,  Veeam backup & Zerto DR replication;
• Knowledge in Hyper-converged platform, SAN Storage, Next Generation Firewall, network switch/router, MPLS, SD-WAN, IoT, etc.will be an advantage; prior experience in system programming a plus;
• Solid Experience on AWS/AliCloud or other cloud platform is preferred;
• Experience in Next Generation Antivirus, Mail/Spam Gateway, VDI, DLP, MDM, SIEM, is a plus;
• Analytical and good communication skills, well organized, independent, self-motivated and good team player;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• University degree holder in Computer Science, in Computer Science, Information Technology (High Diploma holder with more experience will also be considered);
• Less experience will be considered as Network Engineer.
