Our client, a Global top tier Insurance Firm, is looking for an ETL Data Integration Lead with experience of managing a team of ETL Developers, and delivering a large-scale data-oriented project with multiple phases. The right candidate will be responsible for the development, testing and implementation of data warehouse solutions in relation to a large-scale Regulatory change program (IFRS17) impacting the entire APAC region and multiple local entities. This role will require significant coordination between many functions of the business, most notably, between Regional finance and actuarial teams.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Lead a team of ETL developers to successfully develop the technical design, and also implement, the ETL strategy of the project using SSIS.
• Provide clear guidelines and directions for the development team to work out the detailed technical design.
• Work closely with the various functional teams in analysing the business and the various functional requirements needed.
• Analyse legacy applications, understand business requirements and develop a future state ETL Framework that is reliable and effective. 
• Ensure system alignment to Regional Enterprise Architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system development.
• Continually assess the development effort, in order to make future ETL development resource recommendations

Requirements of the Role:

• Graduate qualifications in computer science, engineering or equivalent mandatory. 
• At least 10 years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment, with proven experience in developing ETL frameworks/platforms, using SSIS and SQL Server databases.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Azure services and components, e.g. Data Lake, ADF, etc. is highly advantageous. 
• Relevant experience in working on regional or large-scale projects that were implemented in multiple locations.
• Must have a good understanding of Database Designs and Data Models.
• Excellent communication skills with English mandatory.
