• Oversee the external service providers and co-ordinate with internal shared service team to ensure efficient operation in all accounting processes.
• Responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statement for Hong Kong statutory audit. Work closely with the China Accounting Manager on consolidation of China subsidiaries.
• Undertake regular Balance Sheet Review, reconciles and resolves P&L and balance sheet ledger accounts.  
• Maintains ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with the worldwide Controller's manual and to all applicable GAAPs, laws and regulations
• Manage and administer the relationship with internal and external auditors
• Support Tax and Treasury in Hong Kong/Taiwan/Singapore and manage cashflow for these entities
• Support development, maintenance and assessment of internal controls, and consistently upholds company policies & procedures
• Support the development of financial processes and operating procedures and implementation of Oracle ERP system.
• Some travel required

Knowledge, Experience and Skills :  

• BA or BS degree in accounting or equivalent and member of recognized accounting profession bodies
• Proven track record of 6 to 8 years relevant working experience in multinational companies, preferably in Pharmaceutical and FMCG industry.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, HK/TW/SG/CN GAAP and local statutory reporting requirement and tax regulations
• Previous co-ordination experience with SSC or outsourcing service provider is an added advantage
• Hands-on position responsible for handling all the financial related matters in a multi-tasking environment
• Hands-on experience in Oracle or other equivalent ERP system, previous system implementation experience is a plus
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical minded and good problem solving skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, detail oriented, hands-on, able to work independently in a deadline-driven and multi-tasking environment
• Self driven with high levels of integrity, excellence and teamwork
• Highly adaptable and able to work in a startup, evolving environment and dynamic organization
• Ability to interact successfully with both financial and non-financial personnel at different levels
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese/Putonghua
