You are responsible for

Create

• Ensure the completion of qualification of supplier processes, materials and components (including spare parts), according to the agreed specification and quality requirements (APQP/ PPAP/ PSW) 
• Lead/ execute  supplier related change management projects independently
• Identify risk level of suppliers and propose supplier management model accordingly to SQE management (using risk prevention and mitigation procedure, according to the set schedule for existing supply base and for all new suppliers)
• Provide quality related input to quality agreements and project books (Q-targets,  generic Q-related aspects, etc)

Change

• Review the feasibility/ manufacturability/ measurability of suppliers proposal and approve 
• Ensure and monitor the implementation of design and manufacturing (sub-) process changes at supplier including maintaining the feedback loop and establishing continuous improvement after implementation

Maintain

• Manage quality aspects of suppliers throughout the lifecycle (BRM’s, Resolve Q-issues via SCAR, monitoring Q-performance, monitoring QCP effectiveness, etc)
• Ensure compliance of suppliers to Safety regulations, Quality and ROHS/REACH standards on quality management process and product level (Execution level, not QMS)
• Responsible for supplier performance. Monitor and act when trend is negative (assigned suppliers)
• Ensure that the supplied part meets specifications, and the control limits/tolerances for CTS/ CTQ/ CTP parameters are met
• Sustain processes of suppliers, including performing regular process validations for critical supplier processes impacting part quality

Improve

• Drive development and improvement of CTS/ CTQ/ CTP supplier related processes
• Execute SCAR management, effective and timely closure and Review/risk assessment of QN's and their escalation to SCARs or CAPA where needed
• Deploy common approaches and working methods to drive ‘’One Philips’’ towards Supply Base in BG PC
• Plan and perform process audits as lead auditor for supplier processes
• Support supplier certification audits, selection & qualification assessments as a lead auditor
• Identify the discrepancies between required and current supplier capabilities and drives quality improvement plan/ risk mitigation accordingly
• Support Supplier development programs
• Drive quality awareness both internally in the organization and externally with ODM/ suppliers

You are part of

the Supplier Quality Engineering Team to coach the member to ensure the competences and capabilities are in line with the business needs. You are also able to deploy and follow-up the Supplier Quality Related KPI’s towards the supplier in order to meet Philips sustainability requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant Quality functional experience
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese
• Highly motivate, action oriented, persistent towards accomplishing tasks and drives for success (flexible in work approaches & firm in work principles)
• Good team player to optimize, align, implement and review all quality objectives
• Independent and self-discipline with good communication skill
• Good understanding in quality tools, statistical tools and methodologies (CtS, CtQ, CtP, DfSS, SPC, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan)
• Six Sigma GB/ BB certification preferred
