Job Description

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and highly enthusiastic individual to join a successful property investment business and be part of an efficient Finance team delivering high quality finance and accounting support to the business. Under direction, is responsible for the overall management and completion of a full set of books including month end closing. Ensures effective communications and relationships between internal clients and team members are maintained. The role is full-time permanent position, and is involved in a significant part of the finance and accounting process.

 

Responsibilities

  • Handling day to day reporting resulting in a full sets of books
  • Perform Accounts Receivable collection procedures & monitor project revenue
  • Monitor daily & monthly cash position and arrange payment
  • Familiar with electronic payment process (e. g. HSBC Net)
  • Assist in month end closing and preparation of accounting schedules
  • Processing and generating data in the preparation of reports for management analysis
  • Providing support to other areas of the business as required
  • Managing documentation processes and records management

 

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities in the following

  • Diploma in Accounting or above with LCC&I Higher Certificate or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an accounting environment
  • Experienced in using Sun Accounting System will be definitely advantageous
  •  
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, other department employees and company representatives
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel, plus general working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Passionate, optimistic, and has internal inspiration to get things done 
  • Strong sense of responsibility able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Immediate available or short notice only

  • Excellent communication skills and good written and spoken English
  • Ability to manage the process and escalate issues where necessary
