Job Description

Our client, a multinational financial group in the world is looking for high caliber candidate to fill the following position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing strategy by understanding consumer insights, competitive positioning & tactics, internal business needs to form a coherent and effective strategy to each campaign.
  • Management and execution of marketing campaigns and activities to deliver the objectives and ambitions of the strategy and plan
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound alignment, timely buy-in of campaign ideas and execution details. And to ensure campaigns and assets delivered are legal and compliant with the relevant codes of practice.
  • Effectively managing a broad range of agencies and suppliers (creative, media, social, below-the-line) to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to gatekeep execution excellency.
  • Efficient budget management to ensure budget is spent effectively, adhere to the departmental guideline of ROI.
  • Facilitate external agencies and internal functions to track campaign results and to ensure timely delivery of results/reports that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels
  • Support the company vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making. Provide leadership and demonstrate execution excellence by searching out external best practice, monitoring professional developments, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same in the best interests of our customers
  • Encourage and enable constructive teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with company 's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of marketing policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of company and market best practice.

Job Requirements

  • 8-10 years of marketing management experience
  • University graduate in business studies or marketing with a strong background in marketing is preferred
  • Ideally working in banking or a financial institution with involvement or a good understanding of banking products or insurance products will be highly regarded.
  • The key challenge of the role is to manage the day-to-day campaign development and production activities and deliver high quality and standard outputs
  • In view of the high intensity of activities, the candidate has to be extremely good at multi-tasking, project management with sound problem-solving skills to meet tight timelines.
  • Ability to attend to details to ensure accurate and high quality communications at all times.
  • The candidate needs to exhibit creativity, with excellent programme planning, implementation and evaluation capabilities while interfacing with multiple internal units and external partners confidently.
  • Proficient in data analysis, project management, advertising production and media effectiveness with a good commercial acumen.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in liaising with external business partners and suppliers
  • Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in multiple languages are seen as a distinct advantage.
