Reporting to Shanghai Based Associate Director – Marketing Communications, ASPAC, the Digital Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific (Excluding BOTH China and India) oversees the execution of digital marketing projects and activities in the region.

Leads the development, maintenance and optimization of the Company websites (excluding e-commerce), APPs, digital sales tools (e-catalogues, e-coupons etc) and campaigns mini-sites.

Coordinates the development, implementation and tracking/monitoring of successful ROI performing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns on Google and Yahoo aimed to boost online traffic with a strong offline conversion (= store visits) and/or lead generation of sales revenue and business prospects.

Manages the development, implementation and tracking/monitoring of successful ROI performing social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn capable to support the Company brand building in the region.

Last, regularly performs data analysis and provides weekly analytics reports for the management to review.

 

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project management and coordination of third party vendors for the development, maintenance and optimization of the Company websites (excluding e-commerce part), APPs, digital sales tools (e-catalogues, e-coupons etc.) and campaigns mini-sites with the aim to ensure timely and on-budget project competition;
  • Implementation, tracking and optimization of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns on Google and Yahoo with the aim to generate the best possible ROI in terms of online traffic with strong offline conversions (= store visits) and/or lead generation;
  • Production, implementation, tracking and optimization of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn campaigns with the objective to generate the best possible ROI in terms of brand awareness increase within the relevant target audience;
  • On-going data analysis, production of weekly analytics reports with recommendations for optimization;
  • Daily liaison with country and sub-regional marketing communication teams as well as regional product and e-commerce teams to ensure projects’ successful competition and execution;
  • Contribute to the development of regional digital marketing guidelines and policies as well as guide and advise country and sub-regional marketing teams about best digital marketing practices and latest digital and social media trends;
  • Being constantly up-to-date with Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn latest functionalities and adjustments to their algorithms.

Personnel Requirements: 

  • Strong fluency in English language (both written and spoken). Any other additional Asian language is a plus such as Chinese;
  • Around 10 years’ of working experience in digital agencies or in-house marketing department with predominant focus on digital / e-marketing duties and tasks, among them three years in a strategic or senior project management capacity covering multiple digital functions and with:

a) Proved experience in the development, maintenance and optimization of complex websites, APPs and digital sales tools (e-catalogues, e-coupons etc);

b) Proved track record in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for Google;

c) Proved track record of highly performing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns on Google;

d) Proved track record of highly performing branding campaigns on Facebook and Instagram;

  • Certified Google and Facebook professional (Google ADwords certification and Facebook BluePrint certification);
  • Understanding of most common website coding languages and development software available  (HTML, C++, Dreamweaver, WordPress);
  • Strong data analysis capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects autonomously;
  • Passionate and highly knowledgeable about digital marketing and social media;
