Accountabilities and Activities

• Process pre-authorization for customers according to the policy’s administration guidelines
• Coordinate with various service providers to ensure that all hospitalization and/or surgical requirements are satisfied
• Handle provider enquiry hotline
• Provide case support duties to the Case Management/TPA team in accordance with the standard operating procedure of the department
• Provide administrative support to the team including handle incoming/outgoing mails and documents, filing and maintain relevant records
• Prepare and collate documents when requested by team members or supervisor
• Handle document exchange between internal teams and business partners
• Assist in report preparation
• Prioritize work effectively and according to team’s Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Be compliant with guidelines and SOPs, escalate when (and only when) necessary
• Perform other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you should ideally have

• University Graduate or professional qualification in medical discipline or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ relevant working experience in medical insurance, experience in communicating with healthcare providers or Pre-Authorisation is preferred
• To be familiar with medical practice and insurance policy wordings is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
• To be customer focused, detail-minded and self-motivated
• High level of integrity, trust and can work independently
• Proficiency in MS office applications
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage
