Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain risk management policies and ERM framework. Ensure the company risk policies and practices are in full compliance with regulatory and other requirements as well as industrial best practices;
• Manage the Market risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, as well as regulatory risk; Knowledge in Counter-party risk would be an advantage;
• Prepare various kinds of risk reports;
• Work closely with business/support units to effectively manage operational risk in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements;
• Assist to plan and monitor internal audit projects; and
• Other ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree and / or progress towards recognized professional qualification in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant area.
• Sound knowledge of insurance operations and methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of relevant risk management and compliance experience. Experience in Chinese enterprises and/or general insurance industry is an advantage.
• Accustom to multi-tasking with ability to prioritize.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
