Our client is a well-known insurance company and now looking for high calibre to join their group.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the company business units
• Review, draft and negotiate legal documents relating to the company’s businesses with a strong focus on investment matters (e.g. ISDA agreement, global master repurchase agreement (“GMRA”), global master securities lending agreement (“GMSLA”), limited partnership agreement, private placement agreement, bond subscription agreement and etc.
• Conduct legal research and take up some major projects
• Identify legal risks of pending or potential non-routine government inquiries, internal/external investigations, and third-party disputes
• Liaising with external counsel on above matters 

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5-8 years of experience in handling investment related transactions, such as reviewing investment management agreement, ISDA, fund subscription agreement etc
• Familiar with compliance works and relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• Ability to negotiate effectively and independently with issuers, external counsels
• Good command in spoken and written English, Chinese (Fluent Potunghua)
