Responsibilities

• Work on the publication process of research reports to support and enhance the institutional broking business
• Translate, edit and proof-read company and financial documents, including IPOs, A-share reports, research reports, etc
• Support Capital Markets activities and handle enquiries from the team
• Back up the Institutional Research team and train up junior staff to maintain a consistent report style

Requirements

• Degree holder in Translation, Journalism or related discipline
• Strong English language writing ability, HKCEE or equivalent grade B in English advantageous
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in translation or English copy-editing, prefer flexibility with subject matter rather than narrow expertise in financial sector
• Attention to details with good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Familiar with financial and accounting jargons
• Good command of MS Office applications including page layout for text and graphics
• Fluency in Putonghua, good command of written Chinese
