Job Description

Our client is a listed company on HK Exchange (Mainboard).  To cope with existing business needs and expansion project, they are looking for caliber to join the team.

 

 

Key accountabilities:

 

Incumbent is expected to oversee and monitor the day-to-day security operations. Review, plan and implement security policies and procedures, as well as safety arrangements and measures to ensure the best protection of the Group’s assets and related stakeholders.

 

  • Develop and carry out security and safety process review for identifying potential risks and improvement plans. Communicate security and safety policies and procedures to internal and external parties
  • Respond to security incident, investigate, review and follow up on improvement / protective measures
  • Manage the manpower, budget and resources planning to ensure the Security team can carry out its roles & responsibilities efficiently and maintain optimum security and safety of lives and property
  • Lead and guide the security team to work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth operation, security and operational safety of the Department store/ Shopping Mall
  • Liaise with internal and/or external parties including business partners, government bodies, consultants, outsourced service providers and contractors to define and meet security needs
  • Conduct and supervise investigations into all security and safety incidents and accidents, and communicate all findings and recommendations to the senior management
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned by management

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma Holder in security/risk management
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a police or law enforcement or equivalent security environment (e.g. hotel, property) with at least 4 years in a managerial position.
  • Experience in retail industry - physical security operations, security assessment and/or crowd management planning highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated with professional presentation, communication, organization and computer skills. Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Customer-oriented attitude. Good leadership skill with the ability to motivate staff in a dynamic environment, incident handling and investigation techniques.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
  • Holder of valid QAS and security personnel permit is required
