Duties:

• To provide support in carrying out ad hoc researches to entertain requests of specific occasions or answering enquiries from internal or external parties and compile statistics, specifically on economic, trade and foreign direct investment (FDI) related subjects;
• To assist in updating reference materials provided to support investment promotion work of the department;
• To collaborate with other internal and external parties to support the implementation of surveys and research projects (including progress monitoring, data collection, and analysis) conducted in-house or commissioned to external consultants by InvestHK;
• To provide administrative and other ad hoc support (e.g. stocktaking and maintenance of records and publications, following through procurement procedures) for InvestHK’s Market Intelligence Team; and
• To perform any other duties assigned by supervising InvestHK officers

Requirement:

• A Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in business administration, economics, or international marketing;
• Meet the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE or equivalent preferable;
• Minimum of two years of full-time work experience preferably gained in marketing research, investment or trade promotion;
• Knowledge of and experience in investment promotion or economic developments an advantage;
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must. Knowledge of Putonghua or other languages (s) would be an advantage;
• Proficient in English and Chinese word processing, and in the applications of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
• Good organisational, communication and analytical skills.
