Job Description
Support HK (www.supporthk.org) is Hong Kong’s first dedicated online environmental petition platform. It enables people from all walks of life to make a difference by signing and starting petitions to address environmental problems in Hong Kong. We aim to bring people together to support each other, share ideas and ultimately create change for a better environment. SupportHK is an initiative of the ADM Capital Foundation (www.admcf.org).
We are looking for an individual to manage and grow the platform, who is passionate about making change for a better environment in Hong Kong.
Major functions / responsibilities:

Uploading and creating site content to drive site traffic

Liaising with local non government organisations and members of the public to raise awareness of the environment in Hong Kong and facilitate the creation of petitions

Liaison with petition organisers to assist with development and dissemination of their petitions

Assisting petition organisers with translation of petitions - SupportHK is a bilingual site

Develop a strategy to drive site development with the aim of increasing the number of Support HK subscribers, the number of petitions and petition signatures

Outreach to Support HK subscribers via newsletters

Work with ADMCF communications manager on social media

Work with web developers and designers as needed as the site evolves

Establish and achieve performance targets for the site
The position will report to the director of the environment programme
Requirements

5 years work experience
-
Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English

Critical thinking

Experience of WordPress

Experience of Mail Chimp beneficial
