Job Description

 

Our client, a listed company in retail sector is looking for caliber to join its’ team as Cashier Manager to strengthen and enhance payment procedures & services.

 

Key responsibilities including:

  • Incumbent is expected to supervise the cashier team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations with emphasis on payment services such as POS operation, credit card and other online payment services. Review and implement operating procedures and guideline; optimize the flow of all payment methods so as to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness process.
  • Manage end-to-end procedures, work closely with various internal and external parties including banks, credit card centers, security company and various service providers.
  • Negotiate and lead payment / POS related projects by coordinating, managing and resolving problems during different stages from project initiation to implementation, down to evaluation.
  • Liaise with bank and credit card companies for joint promotions; manage and control the issuance and usage of cash vouchers and staff credit card.
  • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management.

 

Specifications:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Information Technology, Legal or related discipline with at least 10 years of experience in banking, financial or retail industry, in which 5 years at managerial level.
  • Substantial knowledge and exposure in cash room and POS operations is a must. Familiar with auditing procedures especially internal auditing for accuracy. Skilled at maintaining solid professional relations with management and co-workers
  • Good knowledge on Personal Data Privacy Ordinance, Anti-Money Laundry Ordinance and relevant Regulatory governance would be a definite advantage.
  • Mature, self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure and willing to accept challenges.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management skills and risk awareness.
  • Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua inclusive.
  • Work under shift duties required.
