Job Description

Summary of position:

The Atlas Product Manager is a criticl job role within HCL’s fast-growing Collaboration Software business.  Align with Digital Solution business target, Atlas is attractive new business with new technologies for new requirements to potential wide market. And more new hot components are coming into Atlas portfolios. The Atlas Product Manager will capitalize on ever-increasing demand for Enterprise Collaboration, which is critical to enhance enterprise communication, collaboration and socialization for business management purpose and customer engagement requirements.  In this role, the candidate will lead and collaborate Atlas sales team and connect Atlas product development team to ensure business success. And the role will collaborate to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with Clients, Resellers, Distributors, Systems Integrators, Ecosystem partners, HCL Dgitial Solution/Atlas Product Specialist and Technical Advisors, HCL Client Director Managers, HCL Client Success teams,  HCL Channel, HCL Marketing and Services teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work with the Product Specialist and guide the Product Specialist in product direction, market strategy and execution, etc. to achieve Atlas's business objectives in Greater China
  • Conduct user demand research and user scenario analysis, and develop the development direction and plan of the product;
  • Coordinate the technical team and sales team, organize the customer's needs and present the requirements to the global product development team in line with market expectations;
  • Territory development including demand generation and prospecting campaigns, route and ecosystem management, client relationship, and contracting
  • Lead and develop on new business partnership collaboration and alliance model for bold sales play of Atlas and related HCL Digital Solutions portfolios
  • Balanced revenue contribution from new logo acquisition as well as installed clients
  • Exceed assigned targets for new license software sales, new logo sales,  and meet renewal targets for installed clients
  • Present HCL Atlas and collaboration unique business value, client successes, competitive differentiators 
  • Represent Atlas at local Industry Conferences and User Group meetings
  • Contribute to creating and executing regional sales plays
  • Engage Atlas Geography and Global Leadership to increase customer advocacy and progress deals

 

Bonus Criteria

  • Excellent leadership for Atlas overall business and smooth coonection with product team for business development strategy with outstanding Y2Y growth
  • Exceed assigned software, services and renewals sales targets
  • New partnership and alliance model development for PSA, MSP, White Labbeling and Joint teams
  • Maintain customer retention
  • Sales engagement volume to represent >50% new logos annually

 

Sales Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of proven product manager or business development track record in the technology sector and be confident of enterprise collaboration subjects
  • Leadership record in new business development or sales team on software business
  • Deep knowledge of the assigned territory in terms of relevant industries, clients and business partners
  • Proven Track record of consistent pipeline and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build rapport in senior customer relationships
  • Strong business acumen and Enterprise Collaboration and Internet Collaboration domain business insight to succinctly align customer needs with the Atlas value proposition
  • Strong business and technical aptitude and ability to keep it simple
  • Candidate would initially be handling the entire territory requiring extensive travel

Preferred Background

  • IBM/HCL Collaboration Solution or Digital Solution offerings
  • Collaboration platform for enterprise and internet (Microsoft, Micro waver, Tencent, Ali, Coremail,  etc.)

Travel:

  • Up to 50 %

 Education:

  • MS or BS degree, major in Information Technology or equivalent

 Language:

  • Chinese - Fluent
  • English - Intermediate
