Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing entire daily operations of MUJI Books counters, including but not limit to new title release, stock replenishment, display, goods receiving and return, etc.
• Support different kinds of launch plans, thematic and sales promotions and events
• Be sensitive to sales trend of book industry and customers’ buying behavior through all forms of medias, formulate and provide strategic planning and instructions to stores in order to achieve the Company’s sales target, KPIs and operation efficiencies 
• Assist in preparing and standardizing the work schedule for MUJI Books operation team, suggest improvement plan to streamline the workflow
• Supervise the team to handle customer enquiries, comments and complaints in a professional customer service manner
• Prepare various sales reports, forecasts and analyses for management review
• Handle staff management duties including roster planning and arrangement, staff training and performance review
• Work closely with different internal departments in a timely and effective communication manner
• Ensure housekeeping and work safety are in line with the company's standard
• Provide operation support to other departments if needed
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma holder or above
• 5 years relevant work experience in retail or service industry, in which at least 2 years in supervisory level
• With experience in book industry is a must
• Energetic and outgoing personality with passion in retail industry
• Self-motivated, independent and able to perform multitasks under pressure
• Good planning skill, well organized with strong numerical sense and business acumen
• Strong leadership, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing, especially in MS Excel
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Store Supervisor
