Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice on audio/video and communication technology equipment
• Check and approve all test results given in the test file and reports, prepare test results review report
• Sustain & expand accreditation scope of AV/IT products
• Confirm all related AV/IT project orders, allocate and follow up ALL test projects, review all supporting documents and reports
• Assist the safety lab manager to supervise daily operation in the laboratory
• Plan and control job assignments to subordinates to maintain high quality of work with reasonable turnaround time
• Develop new tests, update regulations and standards for the clients' technical files
• Connect with local association to explore startup, R&D and SME companies
• Provide technical and informative support to subordinates
• Follow and supervise through QA procedure in compliance with HOKLAS, NCB, NRTL, IAS etc
• Offer effective training program to new engineers/sales
• Occasional travel to China and overseas

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder or above
• 5 years of practical experience in lab environment with at least 3 years experience in audio/video and communication technology equipment (IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60065, 60950-1, 62368-1)
• Active, responsible, able to finish tasks without supervision
• Good command of supervisory skills and competent in performing testing service
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Good command of Microsoft Skills
• Good understanding of AV/IT products and disseminating required supporting documentation as advantage
