The Team
The business development team is focused on driving new business sales and ensure that their accounts are finding success on Toby. The team frequently speaks to small businesses in various service industries to understand how their business and industry works so we can tailor our solutions to help these businesses grow.
Responsibility
- Contact service providers to discuss Toby’s value proposition, products and advertising options
- Provide service providers with onboarding support and advice on growing their business on Toby
- Build strong relationship with our service providers by understanding their industries and how to best tailor Toby’s solutions that optimize for their ROI
- Prepare and report sales performance to team including sales planning for upcoming months and identification of new business opportunities
Requirement
- Min. 1 year of experience in sales or business development
- Knowledge of sales best practices and sales metrics;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with client interfacing role
- Effective written communication, prioritization and time management skills
- Must be self-motivated, sales-driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong initiative to strive for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information
