Job Description
The Job:
- Responsible for performing experimental studies related to product/ process development and testing of therapeutic proteins.
- Perform studies on structural, physicochemical and functional properties of therapeutic proteins.
- Perform studies on pharmacokinetics and bio-distribution studies of therapeutic drug.
- Cooperate with other team members to enhance the product quality, optimize the production process and develop QC and biological tests
- Supervise laboratory technician(s) in experimental design and data analysis
The Person:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry, Biotechnology or other Life Science fields
- Strong experience with R&D and scientific research in protein field
- Hands-on experience in studying protein properties using biochemical techniques, which include but not limited to liquid chromatography, electrophoresis, ELISA and various spectroscopic techniques
- Hands-on experience with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics study design and data analysis
- Familiar with the assay development for protein functionality preferred
- Knowledge in gel- and MS-based proteomics techniques is an advantage
- Independent and enthusiastic with strong leadership skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese
- Good command in Putonghua is an advantage
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Research Associate
- Immediately available is preferable
