Job Description

- Carry out laboratory tests and bioinformatic analysis of data obtained from Illumina sequencing and to manage all the related data

- Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration

- Training of junior staff including lab assistants

- Liaise and troubleshooting with clinic and clients

- Clerical duties such as reports preparation and data entry

Education requirement:

A Master degree in biochemistry or computer science related field 

Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience in computational biology;

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication (both oral & written) and inter-personal skills;

- Discreet and good judgment in handling/responding to confidential and sensitive information;

- Excellent hands-on working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; be able to independently prepare and execute presentations, reports, graphs, charts, spreadsheets, etc.
