Responsibilities:

• Perform shelf-life testing and sensory evaluation
• Develop extension flavours and new products, including processing procedures, techniques and product specifications
• Assist review, and improve the application for new and current raw materials and packaging materials
• Tackle problems encountered during processing and ingredients selection
• Broaden product portfolio according to client request
• Act as a project leader to manage all New Product Development for specific market with cost efficiency
• Cope with changes in regulations in different countries, provide alternative solutions to markets
• Draft technical specifications including raw material, packaging material and product specification
• Provide technical support on production issues, including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients and packaging process to ensure the final products are safe and meet the required quality
• Provide technical support on customer inquiries and complaints
• Solve problems on quality and food safety issues

 Requirements: -

• Bachelor degree in Food Science or above in related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of experience in food industry
• Knowledge in food production and processing
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Self-confident, pragmatic and able to build consensus
• Analytical and strategic minded
• Excellent communication skills and ability to serve as effective project champion to internal and external stakeholders
• Station in Hong Kong and willing to travel
