Role Overview

We are expecting a seasoned high caliber Supply Planner to work in our Hong Kong Head Office, to develop, coordinate and manage global S&OP, and supply planning in a short/mid-term horizon. Works cross-functionally with demand planning team in worldwide markets, international purchasing team, sourcing team, finance team, and other teams as necessary to match the supply with the demand requirement. Manages CMs’ supply and logistics plans to achieve product availability and line fill rate goals, key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect regional market demand requirement, and consolidate into global supply plan.
  • Address short term availability or inventory issues (1-3 months) in addition to mid-term supply-demand imbalances (3-6 months), both as part of the monthly S&OP process and daily exception management.
  • Manage the inventory level from global perspective, and also allocate and balance the inventory at each regional level based on the latest demand requirement.
  • Develop and provide a detailed supply plan for finished goods which supports the business plans, assuring quantity and mix are clearly communicated to international purchasing team.
  • Manage Finished Goods Inventory strategy based on Customer and Business requirements, driving continuous improvement to inventory and service through an understanding of the end to end supply chain.
  • Identify slow moving stock and define and initiate actions to remove and prevent recreation of slow-moving stock.
  • Generate reports of moderate complexity and perform data analysis to proactively revise plans or resolve issues.
  • Respond to regional markets inquiries and expedites fast and effectively.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain planning at FMCG/Retail industry, preferably with regional exposure.
  • Ability to work in a diversified culture environment, and also can work across regional with different time zones.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office & Excel skills - with strong knowledge in formula, Macro, and VB skills.
  • Intermediate experience utilizing MRP and ERP systems.
  • Excellent command of spoken English & Mandarin.
