Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for material management, including but not limited to inventory management, material planning and control, warehousing, customs & logistics;
- Ensure company policies, guidelines and statutory requirements are fully complied;
- Maintain accurate planning parameters for ERP;
- Administer and optimize VMI and Buffer Stock at Suppliers;
- Ensure materials are available on time to meet customer demands with direct expediting on suppliers for on time deliveries;
- Minimize excesses and obsolescence through immediate actions on supplies as response to changes on demand;
- Continuous improvements in inventory turns;
- Monitor and control material usage variances;
- Manage and enhance team performance to meet with business objectives and ensure required results can be achieved effectively and efficiently;
- Lead and train subordinate
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management or related discipline;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in material planning and control, warehousing and customs & logistics in EMS industry with at least 5 years at managerial level;
- Knowledgeable in TS16949, SPC, ISO9000, ISO14001/OHSAS18001 and EHS documents control;
- Experience in working with component suppliers;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese (Putonghua);
- Stationed in Suzhou is required.
