Regional Procurement & Supply Management Manager

Being the market leader in the Engineering Design Manufacture, our client is inviting professional like
you to join their fast-growing Commodity Team in HK for the Asia Pacific Region.

Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for full spectrum of procurement and supply management operations process for South East Asia.
• To develop and drive suppliers’ performance by evaluation, negotiation, costing and product management
• To enhanced supplier relationships based on objective review of capabilities and pricing
• To develop new and existing suppliers to produce new type of materials or improvements to existing materials
• To lead the implementation of South East Asia purchasing initiatives
• To work closely with the local purchasing team to ensure regional coordination of suppliers activities and internal efforts
• To lead price discussion with suppliers for all common materials and develop low cost sourcing initiatives 

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines; Candidate graduated from B.B.A / Supply Chain Management with technical procurement experience will also consider
• 10 years or above regional Procurement and Supply Planning Operations Management experience in Electronics & Mechanical components; Candidate from heavy mechanical industry is highly preferred  
• An independent person with at least 3 years’ experience in managing a virtual team across the region.
• A strong team player who enjoys working closely with people under a matrix organization and is able to cope well with ambiguity and demonstrates resilience
• Sound project management skills with experience in leading regional roll-out of global projects
• Proficiency in SAP is highly preferred; MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills are mandatory
• Excellent communication skills, with high standard of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Mandarin is important
