Responsibilities:

• Develop Supply Chain strategies that meet our customer and Business Unit strategic materials’ needs
• Sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements
• Monitor, track and provide feedback on suppliers’ performance on overall cost, delivery and quality
• Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Understand suppliers, their capabilities, market trend and technologies for assigned commodities
• Handle internal RFQ and provide input to determine quoted cost to the customer that is competitive
• Maintain and upkeep the purchase database and records
• Support ad hoc requests by immediate supervisor

Requirement:

• Diploma or above in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement and sourcing, with at least 3 years in managerial position
• Strong understanding of electronic component and EMS industry
• Details oriented, well organized and resourceful with strong negotiation techniques
• Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Analytical, numerically astute, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
• High Integrity and able to work well under pressure
