An international Japanese bank is looking for the compliance professional to join them.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations; relevant laws, regulations and global standards in respect to AML/CFT
• Review and analyze reports for irregular or suspicious activities. Subsequent reports to the stakeholders should be made on cases that violate relevant rules and regulations
• Focus on institutional and corporate clients in Hong Kong and the U.K.
• Establish assessment plans and framework for the business to follow as well as perform control reviews
• Prepare compliance plans and due diligence
• Stay up to date with latest business practices and products

 Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Law, Risk Management or related disciplines
• Professional qualifications in auditing or accounting (e.g. CPA, CISA, CAMS etc.) is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years in KYC/AML compliance, with at least 4 years in a management position
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Hong Kong regulations and industry best practices; particularly in the areas of compliance, corporate governance and risk management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
• Superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic working environment
• Strong investigative and analytical ability and detail-oriented
