Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting functions including book keeping, monthly management accounts and full sets of account
• Prepare SFC FRR reporting
• Prepare monthly reports to present fund values and distributions
• Perform settlement duties, including daily trade reconciliation and bank account reconciliation, prepare daily and monthly statement to clients
• Maintain internal controls for both financial and operational aspects
• Provide professional financial and tax planning advice to management
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, legal, compliance etc.
• Perform ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably gained from financial institutions / securities brokerage company /fund administration firm / fund house;
• Experience in fund accounting is a plus;
• Solid fund accounting knowledge in private equity and funds is advantage;
• Good knowledge in accounting standards and SFC/ HKEx rules & regulations would be an advantage;
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility;
• Strong interpersonal skills and open to new challenges;
• Able to work independently with efficiency and able to meet tight deadline
• Proficiency in MS Office is a must;
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; Proficiency in Putonghua is a must.

Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Senior Finance Officer.
