Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • Handle a full set of accounts, book-keeping and consolidated financial statements
  • Review product costing and margin
  • Handle payroll and MPF
  • Liaise with auditors and professionals and other relevant matters
  • Company secretary matters
  • Administrative works and ad hoc assignment as required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares consolidated financial reports to provide management and company its financial results and condition
  • Prepares various schedules and analyses to support the financial reports
  • Prepares working paper adjustments to ensure that all costs and accruals are properly reflected in the financial statement
  • Prepares monthly overhead and fixed asset reports to monitor budget performance
  • Reviews correctness of the accounting entries by checking journals and vouchers
  • Reviews documents for proper substantiation and completeness of records
  • Weekly following of the Payables and Receivables: presenting reports to Directors
  • Preparing the payments, handling petty cash and planning the company cash flow
  • Participates in the development, upgrading and implementation of the company’s computerized accounting system
  • Performs other duties necessary from time to time for the successful operation of the company, which are reasonably inherent to the nature of the functions of the designation given
  • Administrative duties including payroll calculations

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder in accounting or other related disciplines
  • Qualified member (student) of HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in related disciplines
  • Self-motivated, focus on details and accuracy and able to work under pressure
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in using MS Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in using NetSuite or an ERP equivalent is a PLUS
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Objectivity and attention to details, precision in handling data
