Job Description

In KPMG's Management Consulting practice, we do not limit ourselves to either strategy or implementation. Instead, we deliver both. Our team in Hong Kong is the fastest-growing division within KPMG China and represents a young and enthusiastic team that always pushes itself to succeed. Since our creation, we have developed an in-depth body of knowledge of an incredibly broad spread of sectors and services.

KPMG’s Management Consulting has grown substantially since its establishment and with the growing demand for GRC solutions, we are now building our GRC delivery team. KPMG’s GRC Enablement Solutions help clients perform an initial assessment of the tools and technology needed, and then assists with implementing those to facilitate effective GRC activities. We help our clients promote the consolidation, coordination, and reporting of the GRC activities throughout their organisation.

The role of a Manager within KPMG has three specific areas of focus:

1. Business Development
- Working with the KPMG team, building strong and lasting client relationships through excellent interpersonal skills
- Working with Senior Management and Leadership to develop compelling propositions which target relevant client issues
- Identifying project opportunities and leading the development of proposals
- Taking an active role in managing initiatives to appropriately market our GRC Technology capabilities and services

2. Client Service
- Delivery of high quality advisory and/or technical services to our clients
- Work with people from across the firm to deliver client projects
- Planning and overseeing the delivery of engagements or projects, including responsibility for the review and quality assurance of deliverables
- Building lasting relationships with key client stakeholders
- Identifying and managing risks whilst maximising profitability and ensuring the Firm's frameworks are implemented appropriately and effectively

3. Practice Development
- Utilising previous and ongoing experience to build and develop knowledge within the team
- Developing and building delivery capabilities by working directly with the team and as a subject-matter expert
- Supporting key training and sharing knowledge within the team to further develop the GRC technology capabilities
- Developing thought leadership in the GRC Technology area
- Helping our junior team members to develop through mentoring and coaching in the role of a Performance Manager and by disseminating experience throughout the team

As a GRC Technology manager, you will be helping organisations develop practical solutions to achieve better visibility over key components of their Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit programmes, leveraging leading vendor GRC platforms or custom-built solutions.

The individual will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Economics and Finance, - Economics and Finance & Technology
- 5+ years of work experience in designing and implementing risk management and GRC processes
- 5+ years of work experience in defining business and functional requirements and working with technology teams to support these requirements through automation using GRC software that includes, but is not limited to Archer, BWise, MetricStream, ServiceNow or OpenPages
- Experience of working as part of a team in client delivery and have a collaborative work approach
- Experience in working collaboratively with senior risk stakeholders (CIO, CRO, CISOs and direct reports)
- A good understanding of the systems implementation lifecycle and the configuring and optimizing of business processes leveraging technology; and implementation experience covering: Business Requirements, SIT/UAT, Configuration, Training, Post cut-over support, 3rd party solution integration, etc.
- Proven project management skills including planning, designing and shaping project workstreams, managing progress, resolving issues and limiting risks;
- Ability to work at pace whilst delivering pragmatic and high quality outcomes
- Good English language skills

Preferred skills:
- Previous Consulting or Big 4 experience preferred.
- Cantonese is preferred
