Our client is a top-tier global insurance firm with strong presence worldwide.  To further strengthen their market positions, the company is urgently looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.  This position is initially a 12 months contract, with the view to extend or turn into a permanent headcount.

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:- 

•        Review financial statements and disclosure notes
•        Liaise with external auditors
•        Review and work on IFRS accounting standards
•        Extract details from spreadsheets to disclosure notes on financial statements
•        Liaise with various local counterparts to ensure timely submission of financial statements
•        Support ad-hoc projects, such as enhancing existing accounting processes, etc. 

To be considered as a Finance Manager, you possess the following:- 

•        Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or relevant discipline
•        At least 5 years of hands on relevant experience
•        Prior accounting experience in insurance industry is preferred, but not a must
•        Competent in using large ERP system such as SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.
•        Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English
•        Immediate available candidate will be preferred
