Job Description

The Firm

One of the sizable and famous Germany-based firms is currently hiring a well-rounded accountant for the full set of accounting work.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial controller, the main duties will include but not limit to: -

Handle full set of accounts: bookkeeping, reporting and handle China & Hong Kong company account
Develop and prepare reports, queries, and models to analyze financial and operational data to support business decision
Work closely with the China, Singapore and global head office
Applies knowledge of the different systems and processes associated with various department
Develops and maintains cooperative relationships between China, Singapore, global head office and other departments in order to accomplish business objectives
Able to work independently to drive processes without significant oversight and understand when it is appropriate to escalate issues
Participate in system implementation
Perform ad hoc assignments as required

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

6+ years accounting experience is preferable
Experience / knowledge of new system implementation and accounting software is preferable
Experience of cover Hong Kong and China accounts, best to have Singapore as well
Willing to travel to China / Singapore
Excellent communication ability in both Chinese and English
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Immediate available is preferable
