KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director, Regional Controller (APAC) you are responsible for:

• Oversee the accounting function in Hong Kong (regional hub) and APAC countries for Sourcing and Retail.
• Prepare monthly reporting reports and consolidated management reports
• Review monthly P&L analysis and cash flow forecast for APAC countries
• Create KPIs to measure and drive operations efficiency including regional PTP, OTC and RTR teams
• Ensure all accounting procedures comply with the internal policy and compliance
• Drive process improvement projects related to system enhancement, create and maintain SAP standard operational procedure (SOP) by partnering with global, local and IT team effectively.
• Act as the key contact point to external auditors, review any GAAP difference and drive the annual statutory audits to completion
• As business partner with regional counterparts  
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
• Qualified accountant from ACCA/ HKICPA or equivalent
• At least 12 years of experience with strong exposure to regional or APAC experience in sizeable multinational company. Retail and experience is a must.
• Big 4 trained is preferred but not a must
• Strong business sense with solid analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong leadership and management skills
• Experienced in system and process improvements
• Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in PC skills, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems is a plus
