The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is a statutory body established by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008, responsible for developing the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Job title:             Assistant Accounting Officer/ Accounts Clerk

Department:       Finance Department

Location:            Tsim Sha Tsui - China Hong Kong City Office

Duration:            1 Year (Subject to renew)

Responsibilities:

Supporting the line department responsible for construction projects, the accounts clerk will assist the supervisors in the Finance Department to:

• handling daily accounting operation, such as accounts payables, payables settlement
• maintaining master register of the contracts of capital projects
• keeping proper record of contract details in the ERP system  
• assisting in month-end closing and year end audit
• assisting in preparation of cash flow forecast for the projects
• participating in other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting / Business / Finance or above;
• Minimum 2 year of working experience in finance and accounting;
• Hands-on experience on ERP accounting software, Oracle is an advantage;
• good computer skills in MS Excel and computerised accounting systems; and
• strong sense of responsibility and willing to learn.
