Our client, a top-tier Asset Management firm, is looking for a Fund Accountant due to their business expansion. Candidates who have previous hedge fund accounting experience and looking for a move into buy-side environment will find this opportunity exciting and suitable.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare full set of accounts and management reports for financial assets (e.g. public bonds, equities, derivatives etc.)
• Compile daily investments, cash and fund valuation reports
• Conduct NAV reconciliation, and record portfolio and cash positions
• Handle cash transfer / payment / receipt for investments
• Liaise with prime brokers and external auditors
• Undertake any other duties and special assignments as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder or above with preferably 2 years of fund accounting related experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of financial assets, valuation, accounting and securities settlement
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
• Hands-on experience in accounting software
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
