The job: 

The successful candidate will work in our accounting team in Group Finance to provide professional accounting services to different business units. The successful candidate will prepare and analyse the monthly financial and management accounts of the Group’s subsidiaries. Besides, the successful candidate has to ensure proper accounting control in place and support budget and forecast exercises, evaluate business proposals and ad-hoc assignments.

S/he will work with colleagues from different departments and liaise with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional advisers directly. This position demands high level of interpersonal skills and the candidate should be able to deal with people from different background.

The successful applicant will have:

• Degree holder in accounting or related disciplines with qualification in professional accounting bodies.
• Minimum of eight years’ relevant experience in financial reporting or management reporting. Capable of handling full set of accounts with minimal supervision.  Candidate with experience in Big4 is preferred.
• Excellent in both written and spoken English
• Independent, proactive, positive and hands-on attitude, able to meet tight time line in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical skills
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience in Oracle accounting systems is an advantage
