Our client, an international Law firm with over 10K+ employee among the world, are looking for an Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked as the primary contact for Partners/Fee Earners on monthly billing, collection forecast, and establish an internal control with the firm.  Great opportunity to join if you are looking for listing company with stability in a sizable firm.

JOB SCOPE

• Establish an approval framework for write off and responsibility and communicate the procedure to Lawyers and Finance staff;
• Conduct regular meetings with Partners/Senior Lawyers to discuss their practice revenue and profitability, billing and debtors’ status;
• Provide regular updates on collection status to prepare/support bi-monthly cash inflow forecasts;
• Prepare revenue (Income Billable Value) estimate by practice at month end and review matter WIP provision in compliance with IFRS15;
• Assist partners and fee earners with pricing negotiations by providing accurate and relevant financial information.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting / Finance Management orientation preferred
• CIMA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified
• Minimum 4-year experience, preferably within an international organization where frequent inter-office interactions is required. Experience in management reporting and FPA is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and capable of building relationships at all levels
• High proficiency in Excel. Experience in HFM, and Hyperion Planning is preferable (or similar budgeting system)
• Capable of digesting and analysing big database using excel
• Good accounting knowledge of Hong Kong GAAP and IFRS and to the ability to apply technical requirements in operations
• Highly adaptive individual who embraces dynamic changes
• Fluent in English is a must with very good writing skills
